Definition

Download of data is defined as the process of allowing users a capability to automatically receive the results of their queries in a data file that can be imported into a database or a spreadsheet. Note that the download file will contain the entire result of the query, and not just the 20 records displayed on the web.

Instructions

At the bottom of the page is the tab separated value files (tsv) which can be imported into a spreadsheet or a database.

The files are in a Tab Seperated Values file (TSV) format that can be read by most major spreadsheets and database applications, including MS Access and MS Excel.

Once the file is downloaded, it can be imported into a spreadsheet or a database. This is done by using the import option provided by your spreadsheet or database. After you have imported the file into your spreadsheet, you may change the format of the columns to meet your needs.

To start the download process simple follow these steps:

FireFox
1) Click on the link associated with the sort order you desire

2) If you are going to import the file into "Excel", select the "Open with" option and click on the "Browse" button. Select "Excel" and click on the "OK" button.

3) If you are going to import the file into a different package, select "Save File" and click "OK" button. Open the package you wish to import the file into and follow the import features of that package. The file to import will be in your "Downloads" folder on your machine.

4) NOTE: When importing the TSV file into your package make sure you specify the data formatting for the 4th column as "Text" in order to keep the Contract Number column from truncating the leading zeros.
