Find an Expense
The expense database allows taxpayers to see how public dollars are spent. Information provided by the Illinois Office of the Comptroller allows users to identify any state spending. Additional information pertaining to expenditures can also be found in reports compiled by the Comptroller's Office.

| Statewide | Perform a statewide search if you are unsure where to begin. |
| By Fund | Select a fund to investigate. State funds are created by the General Assembly to address specific state revenues and liabilities. |
| By Agency | Select an agency to investigate. Agencies are established by the General Assembly to administer the various functions of state government. |
| Select an object of expenditure to view appropriations related to a specific service category. | |
| By Detailed Object | Select a detailed object to view expenditures made to a specific entity. |
| By Vendor | Select a vendor to view expenditures made to an entity that provides services to the state. |
